Skippy the Basenji Cross Eats Rat Poison

Skippy is a 10-year-old male Basenji cross who comes to the Columbus Small Animal Hospital stumbling and with internal bleeding. He has eaten rat poison — the Warfarin type that kills by causing uncontrolled bleeding. Skippy needs a blood transfusion to save his life. The problem resolves happily — with a healthy and happy Skippy coming back to visit us.
